Biography
- Edmund Burdick is named in the will of Capt. John Richmond ( proved July 28, 1740 ) as one of 'daughter Abigail Burdick's children.'
- 1753, Feb. 26. He was given certificate of removal with wife and children to Richmond, R. I.
- 1772. Deed of land, 40 acres at Hope Valley as a gift from father-in-law, Joseph Enos.
- 1774. Resided in Richmond, had 5 in family, 1 male over 16, 2 females over 16, 2 under 16.
- 1777, Census of R. I. Resided in Richmond, between 50 and 60 yrs., 'able to bear arms.'
- May, 1788, to May, 1793. Justice of the peace.
- 1790, U. S. Census of R. I.
