Biography
Edmund Burdick is named in the will of Capt. John Richmond ( proved July 28, 1740 ) as one of 'daughter Abigail Burdick's children.'
1753, Feb. 26. He was given certificate of removal with wife and children to Richmond, R. I.
1772. Deed of land, 40 acres at Hope Valley as a gift from father-in-law, Joseph Enos.
1774. Resided in Richmond, had 5 in family, 1 male over 16, 2 females over 16, 2 under 16.
1777, Census of R. I. Resided in Richmond, between 50 and 60 yrs., 'able to bear arms.'
May, 1788, to May, 1793. Justice of the peace.
1790, U. S. Census of R. I.
