He was also in the skirmishes of Rappahann Station, Thunerfair Gap, Seader Mountain, Culpeper, Virginia. He was hospitalized in June and July 1862 with dispepsy, and again in November 29th, until discharged February 23, 1863, with varicose veins."; Received a disability discharge Company F, 97th Infantry Regiment New York on 05 October 1862.; b. Salisbury, NY d. South Ripley, NY Asa married Mary Jane DALEY b: 22 JUL 1838 in Herkimer County, NY d. 1 MAY 1910 in South Ripley, NY.
