On 8 Nov 1745, in Notre-Dame de Québec, François Burau dit Sans Souci son of deceased [Bureau-4|Jean Burau dit Sans Souci]] and deceased Marie Anne Lachaine married Marie Catherine Lessard daughter of deceased Charles Lessard and Marie Catherine Paquet. Witnesses includes Jean Baptiste Lachaine uncle and guardian of the groom and François Lessard the bride's uncle and godfather. Several other named relatives are witness with a few signatures but neither the bride nor groom could sign. [1][2]
François Bureaux dit Sansoucy, 66 year old husband of Marie Louise Lessard(sic) died 23 Nov 1783. He was buried the next day in the smallpox cemetery of Notre-Dame-de-Québec. [3][4]
