Mrs. Marie THOMPSON, 74, Rt. 5, Rochester, was found death at her residence Saturday night. Death was believed to have occurred at approximately 3 a.m. Saturday. She had been ill three weeks.

She was born Oct. 14, 1896, at Fletcher's Lake, she was the daughter of Albert and Mildred Burge. She resided in rochester 40 years, coming from Lucerne. Her marriage to Isaac A Thompson on Feb. 7, 1936, in Rochester. He died July 2, 1952.

Surviving are two sons, Herbert L. Sheetz Sr., of Fort Wayne, and Cecil Sheetz, of South Bend; eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Grace Need of Fort Wayne.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Zimmerman Brothers funeral home with the Rev. Josef Pallat officiating. Burial will be in Citizen's Cemetery, Rochester. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Monday.

In a divorce suit venued here from Fulton circuit court, Mrs. Ethel Marie Sheetz, of Rochester, was granted a divorce from William C. Sheetz. A property settlement was adjusted out of court and it was also agreed that their children could live with whichever parent they selected or could divide their time between the two homes.
