Ethel was born in 1866. She is the daughter of Boughey Burgess and Elizabeth Ballard. [1] She was baptised 7 November 1866 at Deptford St John, Lewisham, England [2]
She married Henry John Allen, a barrister, on 13 August 1894 in Geneva Switzerland. [3]
In 1939 Ethel, Henry and their daughter Joan resided at Morley Orchard Morley Highton, Midhurst R.D., Sussex, England. [4]
She died in 1942.
