Byrdie Jane (Burgess) Mitchell is a part of US Black heritage.
Byrdie Jane was born in 1889 in Chartiers Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of James Burgess and Lottie Fitch. She married Wyatt Mitchell around 1917. They had one son. She was widowed in 1963, and she passed away in 1984 in Pennsylvania.
