Mary Ellinor Burgess was born on October 19, 1839 in Blenheim, Oxford, Upper Canada.[1][2] She was the daughter of John H. and Eliza Jane Burgess. Her parents were originally from New Brunswick. [3] She married Charles Tilden on September 14, 1860, in Oxford, Ontario.[4] Mary and Charles had nine children.
She passed away on November 29, 1917 in Caradoc, Middlesex, Ontario[5][6][7][8]
