James Burgess and Caroline Spackman Married in England in 1841. In 1854 they and their first three children, Harriet, Jane and William set sail for Australia in the "Tantivy". Their 4th child Joseph was born en route. In Wollombi they had 4 more children - David, Caroline, Anne and Sarah.
