Some sources give the marriage date for David Besse and Jedidah Burgess as 14 MAR 1779, however, this would be six years after their child Sylvanus was born.[1]
David Besse, Jr. and Jedidah Burge were married on May 12, 1763 in Wareham, MA. The last name on her parents' stones and on her marriage register is spelled Burge.
