Note
Note: Information on birth comes from the LDS Ancestral File version 4.13. Susannah made her will 22 October 1714, but it was not probated until 26 June 1732. This puts her death somewhere between 1714 and 1732. In her will she gives the home plantation to her son Richard and the old plantation to William. She is mentioned in her sister's, Joyce Cripps, will. Roger Toole mentions Susannah's 3 youngest children (Richard, William and Elizabeth) in his will dated Movember 5, 1692 are to receive property when they attain the age of 17 years.
There is much controversy over the lineage of her children. If individuals who have submitted to DNA analysis are truly descendants from her line, then they are not lineal descendants of the Rev. Bracewell and may actually be Susannah's children from a marriage to Clark and to Roger Towle (also spelled Toole). See Carey Bracewell's DNA site for further information at www.carey-dna.com.

Bob, do you have any evidence that this woman was the daughter of John Burgess of Yarmouth, Mass.? I find no credible source for the relationship, and she isn't mentioned in the 1997 Burgess Genealoy. I would like to disconnect her from this family unless you can provide some primary source.
