Note: A Treasury minute was received, returning correspondence in reference to Dr. Duncan's letter, reporting the distress of the family of Alfred Burgess, on Kangaroo Island, and directing that one month's rations should be forwarded to them by the Flinders. [3]

A letter was forwarded by Dr. Duncan from Alfred Burgess, who with his wife and family were in great distress on Kangaroo Island, and asking assistance to be removed to Adelaide. Forwarded to the Destitute Board.[4]
