George was born in 13 March 1850 at Bristol, Gloucestershire Co., England. George Burgess ... [1] He married Sarah __ about 1878. He immigrated to Halifax, Halifax Co., Nova Scotia, Canada, in 1880 (or 1891) 1891-1901 censuses; his widow is listed as head of the family in 1911. George died at Halifax, Nova Scotia between 1901-11.
