Biography
Dr Thomas Jay Burgess was born on 12 Aug 1854 in Herkimer County, New York, United States. He was the son of Clark Burgess and Gertrude Amanda Walker. He was married to Mary Stuart Moore. Thomas passed away on 24 Sep 1929 (aged 75) in Petersburg, Virginia and was buried at the Blandford Cemetery in Petersburg. [1]
At the age of 5, TJ appeared in the 1860 US Census with his parents in Richfield, Otsego, New York. [2]
