Mary was born in 1813. She was the daughter of James Burgin and Leah Burgin. She passed away in 1857 and was buried in Sharon Methodist Cemetery, Fairview, North Carolina.[1]
She married Thomas Littleton Lytle sometime before 1836.
In 1850 Mary at the age of 36 and her family were enumerated living in Buncombe County, North Carolina. Mary and Littleton had six children in the household. [2]
