I'm trying to research the West line of my family. I've hit a match with a profile you manage. Colonel Francis West. Husband of Susana Littlepage. Father of Colonel William B West. Died June 22,1786. I cannot add him as my ancestors father, since he already has a page managed by you and a few others. I'm new to Wikitree and don't know how to go about adding ancestors that already have profiles. I've traced this very line from my great grandmother all the way up to Mary Boleyn, granddaughter, Anne Knollys, married my ancestor, Sir Thomas West, 2nd Barron De La Warr. I could really use some help getting my line up to Mary Boleyn added on here. If there's any way you help, please do. Thank you
I'm not certain what you are asking here or what you want to do.
If you have a match with a profile in my tree research or one that someone has been working on, you can request that they be merged. This is probably the simplest way to go about doing it. This way you can pick the correct information to keep in the profile merge.
If you need access to profiles that I or another person manages, you can request this as well and be allowed to add to or make changes.
I hope this helps.
Elliott, I'm still around but sorely behind in my genealogy. My wife, Nancy Merritt Garcia died on 4/28/2017 . Her remains are in Barrancas National cemetery in Pensacola. Fl. I hope to revive my interest in working with my trees. Give me a shout. Looks like you've been hard at work.
Thanks for adding me to the trusted list for Mattie Fields Ouzts. I've cleaned up and added a couple of sources and notes. Also, changed her mother from being her father but female to her mother. Luckily she shows up in both the 1880 and 1900 census so it's documented. Just wanted to let you know. Thanks!
For kicks and grins, I tried to compare our kits on GEDMatch as I have Burke in my tree. But I got an error that your kit is private. Here is mine: H464189.
Paul , Lewis GEDMATCH is wrong? we have dna matching you, link likely way back to YES POCAHONTAS POWHATAN (Princess). Elliot & Lockhart come lots on my DNA matches surname lists, maybe ADAMS related USA pres lines or Douglas / Stewart not 100% sure , I do have 0.235% American Indian ) it was an accident that I found out !
many ancestors from Somerset / Devon so I thought I joined Somerset DNA project on FamilytreeDNA.com (FTDNA for short) turned out that it was Somerset USA American Indian type group I'd joined !!
they said I had 0.235% AM IND!?
I noticed MANY DNa matches had POWHATAN , ROLFE, POYTHRESS, FLOWER in surnames. PRINCESS POCAHONTAS POWHATAN was born in 1595, she married a ROLFE, Poythress grandaughter, moved to DEVON ENG. so LONG ago, please contact [email address removed]
Elliott, I need your help on sources for the Lundy's and Burchett/Birchetts Could you check your files for any sources you may have? (I think one of the Birchett managers is not understanding these very early VA families.) Thanks much
We are really happy that you took the Pre-1700 certification Quiz. Thank

I see that you've been busy! Thanks for all the merges. I'm still try to find the mother of the first Lundy in my tree.Walter Lunde is his name, son of Robert Canmore. Let me know if you have any leads.
