Jane (Burke) Donaghey was born in Ireland.

Jane was born and baptised in 1900.

She married Robert Donaghey in 1924 and they then emigrated to Scotland. After moving to Scotland they set up home at 18 Livingstone Street, Clydebank. They later moved to Crown Avenue and then moved to Braes Avenue. They had three children:

  • James (died 1924 in infancy)
  • Margaret (Peggy; 1926-2007) married George Maxwell (also from Clydebank; 1924-2015) on the 12th February 1955.
  • Leslie (1932-2019) married Robina Wallace on 2nd July 1955 and had six children (five daughters and a son).

She passed away in 1978.
