Nathaniel Burkett was born about August 27, 1784 in Davidson, NC USA, son of Jehu Burkett (~1738–~1823) and Magdalene Croll (~1743– ).
Nathaniel (23) married Elizabeth Kessler (15) (born on March 15, 1792 in North Carolina, United States; daughter of John B Kessler and Mary (Custer) Kessler) in 1808. Their son was Henry Burkett (1817–1903).
Nathaniel died about October 3, 1863 in Kosciusko, IN USA, aged 79.
