"M. Ruth Clark, 84, of Dresden, Ohio died Thursday evening, October 3, 2013 at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.

Born January 12, 1929 in Zanesville, Ohio she was a daughter of the late Julius and Margaret (Switzer) Burkhard and was a 1947 graduate of St. Nicholas High School. Mrs. Clark was a 45 year member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary of Dresden and was a member of the VFW of Coshocton, Ohio. She was also a member of St. Ann Catholic Church of Dresden; she volunteered at the Red Cross and the Veterans Hospital in Chillicothe, Ohio. Ruth was a very avid card player, enjoying any type of card game. She retired in 1988 from the Longaberger Company with 20 years of service and she had previously been employed at Essex Wire Company of Zanesville."[1]
