Velma (age 25) married Hugh Edgar Armstrong (age 25) on 3 April 1912 in Knox, Tennessee, United States.[3]

In the 1920 census Velma (age 32) was the wife of Hugh E Armstrong in Knoxville, Knox, Tennessee, United States.[4]

In the 1930 census Velma (age 43) was the wife of Hugh E Armstrong in District 07, Knox, Tennessee, United States.[5]

Velma's son HuEd Armstrong died on 30 May 1935 in Knoxville, Knox, Tennessee, United States.[6][7]

In the 1940 census Velma (age 51) was the wife of Hugh Armstrong in Asheville, Buncombe, North Carolina, United States.[8]

In the 1950 census Thelma (age 63), Saleslady, was the wife of Hugh E Armstrong in Civil District 7, Knox, Tennessee, United States.[9]

Velma died (age 85) in July 1972 residing in Knoxville, Knox, Tennessee.[10]
