Robert was born in 1837. His parents were Joseph Burland and Sarah Laws. He was christened on 1 October 1837 at Wath upon Dearne, Yorkshire. [1]
Robert was killed in the Lundhill Colliery Explosion on 9 February 1857. [2][3] He was buried on 4 June 1857 at Brampton Bierlow, Yorkshire.[4]
