Benjamin Burley was born in Warwickshire, England.

Benjamin was born on the 8th December 1802, in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England. He was the son of Joseph Burley, and judith Unknown. His christening was on the 2nd January 1804, [1] He married Isabella Stokes on the 30th December 1825 at St. Philip's Cathedral, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England. They had 8 children, [2]

In 1881 he was a Widower, living with family in Aston, Warwickshire, England, Benjamin was a Carter, his son Benjamin was a Brass Founder, Joseph was a Spoon Polisher, granddaughter Annie was of school age and grandson Thomas was below school age, [7]

He passed away on the 13th November 1883, aged 80, at 4 court, Great Brooke Street, Aston, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England, and was buried on the 19th November 1883 at St Saviour, Saltley, Warwickshire, England, [8]
