Biography
Margaret married Thomas Goddard in about 1589.
They had at least eight children baptised at Hungerford:
- Dorothy (1589),[1]
- Elizabeth(1590/91)[2]
- Thomas (1591),[3]
- Francis (1592/93),[4]
- John (1594),[5]
- Alexander (1596),[6]
- Edward (1597)[7]
- Anne (1598/90).[8]
In each case the parish register names Standen Hussey as the place of residence and "Mr Thomas" as the father of the children.
Margaret died in April 1632 and was buried in the church of St Lawrence, Hungerford on 13 April 1632. The parish register described her as a widow. [9]
