BURLING.—May 30, 1930, at his residence, 11 Roberts-street, Marrickville, William (retired railway guard, late of Bathurst), beloved husband of Annie Burling, aged 77 years.[5]
The many friends of Mr. William Burling, late of Bathurst, will learn with regret of his death, which took place at Marrickville on Friday. He was 77 years of age, and for over 20 years was a milk train guard. He leaves a wife, who is the eldest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs James Dixon-Swift, of Bentinck Street, Bathurst. The funeral takes place this morning to the Church of England Cemetery, Rookwood.[6]
