Biography

Ivy was born in 1909.^[1]She was baptised on the 20th January 1910 at St John, Hackney, London as the daughter of Cecil Richard Burman and Nellie Gardner. The baptism record gives a birth date of 31st December 1909. An address of 21 St Thomas Road is recorded and her father's occupation was a sign writer.^[2]

In 1911 she lived with her parents at 34 Elsdale Street, Hackney, London, England.^[3]

In 1925 she emigrated from Southampton, Hampshire, England to Wellington, New Zealand.^[4]

She passed away in 1987.^[5]
