Thomas was born in 1740. He was the son of Thomas Burman.[1] The record has been transcribed as Thomas Burmond, son of Thomas Burmond born 14th September 1740
On 29 October 1770 he married Ann Jorns at Deddington, Oxfordshire, England.[2] The record reads Thomas Burman of the parish of Bloxham in the County of Oxford and Ann Jorns of this parish were married this church by banns this twenty ninth day of October in the Year One Thoufand Seven Hundred and Seventy by me J Honchman (vicar). This marriage was folemnized by us, x the mark of Thomas Burman and Ann Jorns (signs her name) in the prefence of Frances Knibbs and Richd Knibbs
He passed away in 1823 and was buried on 6th April 1823 at Swalcliffe, Oxfordshire aged 82 years. An address of Sibford Gower is recorded.[3]
