Biography

Barbara was born in 1780.^[1][2] She was the daughter of Daniel Poorman and Maria Barbara Hoffer.

She passed away in 1811. The stone in the graveyard on the old Reichard farm ( a field cemetery, on the Sollenberger Farm, Guildford, Franklin, Pennsylvania) has her maiden name as Burmanin.^[3][4] She is clearly mentioned in the will of her father, Daniel Poorman, which agrees with Ohio family history, which lists her maiden name as "Poorman".^[5]
