George was born in 1834 at 'Roslyn'. He is the son of George Burn and Eliza Harris. [1]

He died at the age of 44 years "DEATHS. BURN.—On September 14, George Gunning Burn, second son of the late George Burn, of Roslyn, aged 44 years. The funeral will leave his late residence, in Richmond, at 3 p.m. THIS DAY, 17th inst." [3]
