Biography
Charles was the son of Charles Burn and Margaret Wright. He was baptised on 25 May 1898 at St Hildas, South Shields.
He married Eleanor Holman in 1927. Eleanor was the daughter of Eleanor Johnson and Joseph Holman, Grocer of 51 Frederick Street, South Shields. [1]
A son Charles H Burn was born 26 January 1929. They lived at 16 Woodlands Terrace, South Shields.
Charles was a River Tyne Pilot.
He was widowed in 1960.[2]
Charles Burn died in 1978 aged 80.
