Biography
A tomb at the east end of the south aisle, of All Saints' church, Mackworth, Derbyshire, represents a man dressed in a long cloak with hanging sleeves, and with ruffs round the neck and wrists. Inscribed on the margin of the tomb is —"Here lyeth Edward Mundy Esquire. He dyed June 7, 1607, and of Jane his wife, daughter of William Burnell of Winkbourne Esquire. June 17, 1611."[1]
