Biography
Jefferson R. Burnett was the oldest of 23 children and the father of 7 children with his wife, Mary Lougenia Hensdale Burnett. Their children were as follows:

- Bennett Woodson Burnett (1863-1926),
- Mary Lougenia Burnett Willingham (1865-1951)[1]
- Caroline Burnett (1868-1890),
