Nathan W. Burnett was born on 14 Jan 1842 in Ohio as the third child of Isaac Burnett and Nancy Smith. He had seven siblings, namely: George W., Thomas, Sarah Ann, Delilah Ellen, Phillip S., Mariah, and Nancy Elizabeth. He died on 19 Oct 1915 in Cedar County, Iowa. When he was 27, he married Martha S Burnett on 08 Mar 1869 in Cedar County, Iowa.
