Biography
William Gordon Burnett was born on 4 May 1823 in Fraserburgh, Aberdeenshire, the son of Mary and James. He married Margaret Robertson on 17 February 1846 in Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire. They had seven children in 14 years. He died in July 1875 in Central Sulawesi, Indonesia, at the age of 52.
Death
It is believed that William died in July 1875 at Sea, Sulawesi Tengah, Indonesia.
