Biography

Wilson Burnett is a part of US Black heritage.

Wilson was born about 1859. He was the son of Cornelius Burnett and Caroline Nichols. He passed away in 1915.

Wilson J Burnett, 27, son of C J and Caroline Burnett was born in Chapel Hill, NC. On September 19, 1888 he married Emma S Pamell in Helena, Montana. It was a first marriage for both.^[1][2]

In 1891 W J Burnett was a barber in the Grand Central Hotel in Helena.^[3]

In 1901 Wilson Burnett was working as a barber in Dawson City, Yukon. ^[4]

In 1909 Emma filed for divorce citing desertion by Wilson in 1899 and that his last known address was Dawson City, Yukon. Divorce was granted June 10, 1909.^[5]

Wilson died in 1915 and was buried at Hillside Old Public Cemetery.^[6]
