Biography

Hannah Burnham, daughter of Josiah was baptized i Aug. 1723 in East Hartford, Connecticut. Her sister Irene was baptized there on 5 June 1726.[1] Their mother, Hannah (Stedman) Burnham was alive in 1728 (per deed) but apparently died soon after, as her father Josiah Burnham married Margaret Wood 12 Feb. 1729 at East Hartford. Josiah and Margaret moved to Montague, Massachusetts and had a family, but Hannah and her sister were raised by her mother's relatives in Lebanon, Connecticut.

Hannah Burnham married Daniel Hunt on 15 Feb. 1740 at Lebanon, New London Co., Connecticut.[2]

The family moved to Sharon, in Litchfield County, in the 1740s, apparently accompanied by Hannah's sister Irene, who married Obadiah Chapman on 10 April 1747.

Hannah was born about 1723. She passed away 1808. [3]

I am removing my name as manager for anything older than 1700. Someone better can do it. I can't.
