Wayne Burnie posted a photo of my great-great grandmother, Martha (Pearson) Patterson, when she was young. I have never seen this photo before. Wondering how he acquired it? I have a photo of her when she was old, and living at her daughter and son-in-law's home in Chicago IL. Their names were Fannie E. (Patterson) Johnson and Charles Nelson Johnson, DDS. The photo is framed, or I would post it here. Mignon (Guthrie) Hamlin, Portland OR USA.

whoops Wayne, when I suggested and you completed merge for Elias Long we did not notice the disparate years for his wife Catherine on each profile. {Legge has no more info on his Elias.} I thought I found the family earlier in Cincinnatti OH. And there is an Elias b 1745 that maybe is the one who m Catherine Morden. Do you have any info that could sort this out?? They are not of my Long family. thanks

Hi Wayne,

Just for your information you edited 2 profiles which I manage by changing the category place name for St. Catharines, Ontario. You replaced the second 'a' with an 'e', which is in fact, incorrect spelling. (See the city's website: https://www.stcatharines.ca/en/). People get their backs up when this mistake is made, and while it seems trivial, a problem arises when 2 categories for the same place are needlessly made. I noticed there's a category for a 'St. Catherines' pointing to other edited profiles. They need to be corrected, and pointed to 'St. Catharines', and 'St. Catherines, Ont.' needs to be orphaned completely. I trust you'll make the fixes... or should I?
