Hi!

This is Chris from the Italy Project. As part of the annual project check-in, can you fill in the project survey? This will let us know that you are still interested in the project and which teams you'd like to participate in.

Thanks and have a great day!

Good morning Carolyn, Just dropped by to say hi to my 9th cousin once removed. We have a common great grandmother, Judith Birdsall Cook(e) who is your 9th and my 8th great grandmother. She is Birdsale #9 on WikiTree. If you haven’t already, you might like to read about her. I did some research on her some years ago and found she is the ancestor of my Captain Samuel Cooke of New Haven Connecticut. Our Judith lived in Salem, Massachusetts. All good thoughts to you. Hi, Lula~

Thank you so much for reaching out. I get very excited to meet relatives from way back and far away.

I looked for our connection and am amazed. Isn't it interesting how we can go back so far, and yet here we are.

I will look into this line a bit more closely in the days ahead. Thank you so much for pointing this out to me.

Fondly~ Carolyn

Welcome to the Italy project! Thanks for joining. If you'd like to join a regional team based on your area of interest, let me know. We have teams for the northeast, northwest, central, south and island. We also have a discord chat and a Google Group. If you'd like a link to both, I will be happy to supply them as soon as possible. Thanks again!

Hi Carolyn!

Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles!

It’s very important to read and understand https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Pre-1700_Profiles. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many WikiTree members, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines laid out on that page.

Best wishes for your research

Hi Carolyn,

We are so happy you decided to upgrade to the Family Member level.

Please visit our tutorial pages to learn how to use WikiTree: How To Use WikiTree. They will save you time, energy, and frustration as you add your family profiles.

Exploring the site is the best way to learn. One way to do that is to check out the drop-down menus on the top right side of your profile page. Finding a known ancestor and collaborating with the profile manager is another great way to start.

Questions? You can always use the G2G link in the Help Menu to find answers.
