Alexander Henry Burns was born about 1889.

Alexander married Nellie Hammond in 1915 in Chatswood, New South Wales. ^[1] They had one daughter, Marjory, born in 1915 but, sadly, died in early 1941 aged just 25 years.

Having been widowered for 21 years, he passed away, aged 82 years, in 1971 in Hunters Hill, New South Wales. ^[2]
