Hi Margien,

This is to invite to visit my blog which is on the Oregon Trail and my ancestors who traveled it. I have had the blog since 2007, and when I joined WikiTree in 2013 I began to write a lot of entries on genealogy. This year I am specializing in Oregon Trail wagon trains, and the two years my ancestors came over the Oregon Trail - 1852 and 1864. Reuben Daniels 1771 - 1845 did NOT travel the Oregon Trail - BUT his son Reuben Daniels 1801 - 1883 DID make the famous journey in 1864, and HIS adult son Reuben Daniels 1829 - 1911 was also on that wagon train. So was Mahala Daniels Bennett 1832 - 1904; Uriah Daniel 1827 - 1903; and Sarah Ann Daniels Ridgeway 1822 - 1890. So you see how getting these profiles merged is important to me. And to you also, I'm sure - I can see that we are both descended from the Daniels family. You have descent through Reuben Daniels/Mary Rice, and I have descent through Reuben Daniels/Sarah (Bacon) Barchus Daniels. She married Reuben Daniels 1801-1883, a second marriage for both of them, and Sarah Barchus Daniels' daughter Hannah (Barchus) Colson married Reuben's son Reuben Daniels 1829-1911. So Daniels relationship is by marriage only - no DNA involved. Here is the url for my blog: https://vegetarianbear.blogspot.com/ I also have made two Free Pages about the two Oregon Trail journey's of my ancestors, one for the 1852 wagon train and one for the 1864 wagon train. They are here, https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:1852_Wapello_County_Wagon_Train and here, https://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Space:The_Jasper_Train_-_1864_on_the_Oregon_Trail&public=1 Hope to hear from you, April Dauenhauer
