Leslie Burns lived in Invercargill, Southland, New Zealand.
Leslie was born in Invercargill, New Zealand, on April 13, 1904. He was the son of Samuel Burns and Anna Sabine. Leslie married Clementina Margaret Mary Helen (Tina) Gray in Invercargill in 1929. The couple would have three children.
Leslie passed away on May 9, 1987. He was buried at Belfast Cemetery, Canterbury. He was eighty three.
