Biography

John was born 17 Oct 1880 at Middle Street in Grangemouth, Stirlingshire, Scotland.[1] He was the son of John BURNS and Rachel BURNS née BOYD.[1]

In 1881, he lived with his parents and his older siblings Elizabeth, Maggie and William at 23 Middle Street in Grangemouth, Stirlingshire, Scotland.[2]

In 1891, age 10, he was a Scholar living with his parents and older brother William at Middle Street in Grangemouth, Stirlingshire, Scotland.[3]

In 1901, age 20, he worked as a House Joiner and lived with his parents and older sister Maggie at 9 Middle Street in Grangemouth, Stirlingshire, Scotland.[4]
