Biography

Birth and Life

Joseph was born on 20 Feb 1875 in Harlansburg, Lawrence, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Robert Burnside and Catherine Howe and the youngest of eight children. He married Laura Wilson on 20 May 1897 in Lawrence, Pennsylvania.[1] Together they had two children. He registered for the World War I draft but was not called to serve.[2] He was a store clerk by trade.

Death and Burial

Joseph died on 24 March 1946 in New Castle, Lawrence, Pennsylvania. He is buried in Unity Cemetery, Harlansburg, Pennsylvania.[3]
