George married Mary Ann Halfpenny on 6 May 1824 in St Mary, Lambeth, England.[3]
He, now a widower, married Esther Barns, on 13 July 1837 in Great Missenden, buckinghamshire, England.[4]
In 1841 he was living with his family in Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire, England. James, Wilson, Frederick and Mary Ann were children from George's earlier marriage.[5]
In the 1851 and 1861 Census they were living in Tring.[6][7]
He was buried at St Peter and St Paul, Tring, Hertfordshire on 21 March 1864.[8]
