Simon III was the son of Simon & Mary (Lassell) Burr, born on 30 September 1692 at Hingham in the Province of Massachusetts Bay.[1] His baptism on 9 October 1692 was recorded by Rev. Peter Hobart in his journal.[2][3]
He married Ruth May on 31 Dec 1724 at Rehoboth, Bristol, MA Bay.[4]
According to MA Marriage Record, FC8C-K4S, Simon Burr married Ruth May on 12/31/1729, but according to MA Marriage Record, FC8C-K4M, Simon Burr married Ruth May on 12/31/1724.
It seems Simon and Ruth did not record their children with their town of Residence. However, we find the following records of baptisms at the 2nd Congregational Church of Rehoboth (a.k.a. the Palmer River Church):[5]

Simon left a will written May 4, 1781 and proved August 3, 1784.[6]. It names
sons Elisha and Nathanel Burr
daughters Ruth Whitaker, Elizabeth Kinnicut, Mary Burr (single)
Executor was his son Nathanel.
