Samuel Burr was born 1783 in Haddam, CT the son of Samuel & Jerusha Stevens Burr. He married Concurrance Johnson 9 Apr 1806 in Haddam. They were the parents of five children: Maria (Mariah), Alpha, Samuel, Mary Jane & Didymus Buell Burr. Samuel died one day before his wife, on 8 Apr 1816.
His grandfather, Nathaniel Burr (Memorial #22567394) is also buried here at Old Ponset Cemetery.
