Biography

Mabel Iona Burrell was born on 30 Sep 1890 in Hamilton, Wentworth, Ontario, Canada to Abraham Burrell and Alpha (Stevens) Burrell.^[1]

In 1891 Mable I Burrell (age 0) lived in Hamilton City Ward 7 with her father Abraham (25, Mariner), mother Alpha (25), and sister Flossy E (2).^[2]

Mabel and her family immigrated to the United States in about 1898/99.

In 1900 Mabel Burrell (age 10) lived at 36 Pine [St] in North Town, City of Chicago Ward 24, Cook County, Illinois with her father Abraham (33, Sailor), mother Alpha (33), and sister Ethel (12).^[3]

Mable Burrell, age 19, married Will E Canaday, age 22, on 16 Dec 1909 in Chicago.^[4]

In 1910 Mable Canady (age [19]) lived in Shiloh Township, Edgar County, Illinois with her husband W E (23, Farmer), mother-in-law Mina Canady (43), and grandfather-in-law Wm W Baker (77).^[5]
