Anna Jemima Burris was born October 17, 1898,[1] in Eureka, Kansas. She was the daughter of Jordan Burris and Rose McCool. Just after she was born they went to Pawnee, Oklahoma to seek a better life. She was in her parent's home at the age of 1, in Pawnee, Payne Co., Oklahoma.[2] At age 11 they were ln Lagoon, Pawnee, Oklahoma, where her father was farming and by then her sibblings, George-6, Bryon-3, and Royal age 1 had been born.[3]
she married William 'Marion' Tull in about July 4, 1917,[1] in Jennings, Pawnee Co., Oklahoma. William went by the name Marion. Children:
Anna and Marion were living in Eagle, Payne, Oklahoma in 1920 with their first born son, William 'Marion' Jr, where Marion was Pumper in Tull Oil & Gas Co.[4] By 1930 they had moved to Tiger, Creek, Oklahoma where Marion was farming, and she took care of the home and reared the children, with Marion-11, John-8, Elmo-6, Marvin-3 and George age-1 8/12, in the home at the time.[5] Anna's brothers Frank Burris-19 and Royal E Burris-21 were also in the home working as Laborer's.
Her husband William Marion passed away on November 10, 1961, in Pawnee, Oklahoma, at the age of 69. They had been married 44 years.
She passed away on February 19, 1991,[1] in Jennings, Oklahoma at the age of 92, and was buried in the Lawson Cemetery, Yale, Payne Co., Oklahoma.[1]
