Biography

Edith Marie Burris and her twin, Rose Etta, were born on August 8, 1920,^[1] in Maramec, Oklahoma, to Jordan Burris and Rose McCool. At age 9, Edith and her sister Rose were in their parent's home in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Oklahoma, along with 2 of her siblings, in 1930.^[2]

Edith married Thurman H Harris in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on November 13, 1942,^[3] when she was 22 years old. They had 2 known children.

They lived in Oklahoma City, where in 1955, THurman was working as a Mechanic.^[4]

Thurman passed away in 1999 at the age of 81. They had been married 57 years.

Her last Residence was Okarche, Kingfisher, Oklahoma.^[5] She was buried next to her husband, Thurman.
