Biography

Hannah Burroughs was born on April 27, 1680 in Salisbury, Essex, Massachusetts Bay Colony, daughter of George Burroughs (1650–1692) and Hannah Fisher (1653–about 1681).

Her siblings were:

  1. Rebecca Burroughs (1674–1730)
  2. George Burroughs (1675– )
  3. Jeremiah Burroughs (after 1679– )
  4. Elizabeth Burroughs (about 1681–after 1715)
  5. Charles Burroughs (1686–1757)
  6. Mary Burroughs (about 1690– )

Hannah (24) married Jabez Fox (20) (born December 2, 1684 in Woburn, Middlesex, Massachusetts Bay) on March 8, 1705 in Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts. Their known children were:

  1. Thomas Fox (1706–1793)
  2. Hannah Fox (1708– )
  3. Judith Fox (1711– )
  4. Rebecca Fox (1714– ).

Hannah died in 1746, aged 65.
