This fits perfectly with Jeremiah being a son of Jeremiah and Hannah Way.
Among the papers of James Riker at the New York Public library is reportedly a description of a deed from Jeremiah Burroughs of New York City dated 9 December 1703 to Joseph Burroughs of Newtown conveying land at Newtown.[2]
