William Seward Burroughs III aka William S. Burroughs Jr. was an American novelist. He was the son of William S. Burroughs II, the author of The Naked Lunch and other Beat novels. His great grandfather, William Seward Burroughs I was the original inventor of the Burroughs adding machine. He wrote three novels, two of which were published as Speed (1970) and Kentucky Ham (1973). He did not finish his third novel, Prakriti Junction, although extracts from it were included in his third published work Cursed From Birth.
